The anatomy of the homo sapiens  is one feature that distinguishes them from its predecessors.  Their anatomy was unique: changes in the skull and postcranial skeleton (skeleton minus skull), changes in brain size and architecture. The brain of the homo sapiens was larger than the brain in its predecessors. These changes are linked to the behavior of the homo sapiens and their adaptation.
