What is the point-slope equation of a line with slope -5 that contains the point (6,3)
Luden [163]

Answer:

y-3=-5(x-6)

Step-by-step explanation:

we know that

The equation of the line into point-slope form is equal to

y-y1=m(x-x1)

we have

m=-5

(x1,y1)=(6,3)

substitute

y-3=-5(x-6) ----> equation of the line into point-slope form

Samantha is solving a
Licemer1 [7]
the correct answer for this problem: x= -1/3y + 2

Let’s solve for x
3x + y= 6

Add -y to both sides
3x + y + -y = 6+ -y
3x = -y + 6

Divide both sides by 3
3x/3 = -y + 6/ 3

And so your answer is at the top hope this helps.

nignag [31]
A group of k elements can be chosen from a group of n elements in \frac{n!}{k!(n-k)!} ways.

(^6 _3)=\frac{6!}{3!(6-3)!}=\frac{6!}{3! \times 3!}=\frac{3! \times 4 \times 5 \times 6}{3! \times 6}=4 \times 5=20

There are 20 different 3-member groups.

Question
lyudmila [28]

Answer: 84°

Step-by-step explanation:

On a unit circle, coterminal angles are angles that are in the opposite position of the asked angle. 1524° revolves around 127/15π times across the entire unit circle.

84° is the only positive coterminal angle between 0 and 360 that is in the opposite position of 1524°.

Keep in mind, that there are more coterminal angles, namely 444°, 804°, 1164°, and 1524° itself, but they are outside of the range of 0 and 360 degrees.

Answer:

2 : 1

Explanation:

\sf area \ of \ sector: \dfrac{\theta}{360} \pi r^2

<u>1st sector</u>:

\sf \rightarrow area: \dfrac{80}{360} \pi (8)^2 = 44.68 \ cm^2

<u>2nd sector</u>:

\sf \rightarrow area: \dfrac{160}{360} \pi (4)^2 = 22.34 \ cm^2

Ratio of 1st sector to 2nd sector:

44.68 : 22.34

2 : 1
