A train leaves at 14.54 and arrives at its destination at 15.47. If the train travelled 66 km, what was it's average speed in km
JulijaS [17]

Answer: average speed of the train = 4,483.0 km/h

Step-by-step explanation:

Speed = Distance / Time

Distance = 66 km

Time = 15.47 cancelling 15, we have 60 sec added to 47 sec

          - 14.54

=         14.   107    60 + 47

          - 14.  54

                     53secs

53secs to hours becomes =

60 secs = 1 min

60 min= i hour

therefore 53seconds =53/3600=0.0147222hours

Speed= 66/ 0.0147222= 4,483.025

Rounding to 1 dp becomes= 4,483.0 km/h

How do you solve this problem?
enot [183]
Easy, it says "for ANY positive integer" so just test any positive integer

remember that n! means times all integers from 1 to that number n

lets try 1

(1+1)!/(1!)-1=
(2!)/(1!)-1=
2/1-1=
2-1=
1

if you don't believe me, try 2
(2+1)!/(2!)-2=
(3!)/(2!)-2=
(6)/(2)-2=
3-2=
1

te answer is 1, B

and number 9
easy, remember the exponential law
(x^m)(x^n)=x^(m+n)
jsut add the exponents
first gropu like bases
(r^2r^2/3)(t^1/2t^-3/2)
add bases
(r^2 and 2/3)(t^-1)=
(r^2∛(r^2))(1/t)=
\frac{r^{2} \sqrt[3]{r^{2}} }{t}

disa [49]

Answer:

2/8 (Simplified to 1/4)

Step-by-step explanation:

There are 8 pieces to this, 2 of these 8 pieces are 6, and 3 which are both multiples of 3. So this gives you 2/8 but as you said you need it simplified so if you divide the top and bottom by 2 that gets you the answer of 1/4.
