Anettt [7]

The correct answer is Treaty of Paris.

Following the treaty of 1783, Britain lost possession of 13 colonies, which became independent.

On September 3, 1783, representatives of King George III of Great Britain and representatives of the United States of America signed the Treaty of Paris in Paris, officially ending the American Revolutionary War and the overall state of conflict between the two countries. The treaty established the borders of the British Empire in North America and the United States of America, which were "extremely generous" to the latter. Details included the restoration of property and prisoners of war, as well as fishing rights. The Peace of treaty of Paris as well as the separate peace treaties signed by the United Kingdom and the nations that supported the American cause—France, Spain, and the Dutch Republic. Only the treaty that recognizes the existence of the United States as free, sovereign, and independent. The Paris Agreement is a legally binding international climate change treaty.

Why did the Jamestown colony have so little food in its early years
Yakvenalex [24]

The Jamestown colony had little food in the early years for multiple reasons:

1) Lack of knowledge regarding terrain- Considering that this was the first permanent English settlement, the colonists were unaware of the climate and the weather and how this would affect crops on a long term basis.

2) Conflicts with Native Americans- The establishment of the Jamestown colony was not well received by many Native American groups, as they viewed the English as enroaching on their territory. This limited what resources/where the colonists could travel.
