Answer:

To look at map's title

Explanation:

Encyclopedic definition of a map is a symbolic representation of selected characteristics of a place, usually drawn on a flat surface. Besides this definition maps have common features: date, orientation, grid, scale, title, author, index, legend, and sources. Among these the map’s title tells us what the map is about. It reveals the map’s purpose and content.

A client had a positive Pap smear. The surgeon diagnosed "cancer in situ of the cervix." The client asks, "What does this mean?"
kaheart [24]

Answer: (C) Not crossed the basement membrane, so it can be surgically removed with little chance of growing back.

Explanation: Pap smear, also known as a Pap test, is a diagnostic process to test for cancer of the cervix or cervical cancer.

A Pap smear involves collecting cells from your cervix to check forabnormal cells, which is often cause by Human papillomavirus (HPV).

However, if the test is positive and the surgeon diagnosed "cancer in situ of the cervix.", it established that the tumor (proliferated cells) hasn't grown beyond the base of the membrane. So, the abnormal cells can be removed through surgery and further cell outgrow might not be experienced.

What is the International Date Line? Describe its geographic location. Why doesn't it follow a straight line? Why do we need it?
serg [7]

Answer:

In explanation.

Explanation:

The International Date Line is an imaginary line set up by the people, and it is needed so that the people manage to organize the time more properly on the whole planet.

This line is halfway through on the other side of the planet from the Prime Meridian, also known as the Greenwich Meridian, so since the Prime Meridian is at 0 longitude, the International Date Line is roughly at 180 degrees of longitude.

As I said, roughly 180 degrees of longitude, so this line is not a straight one, but instead it moves a bit in both eastern and western direction at certain places. The reason why it is not straight is because it follows the borders of the countries located in the Pacific through which it passes or touches their borders, in order to not divide their time.
