Authors often use the word "man" to refer to large groups that include both male and female members—for example, "all mankind."

sociologists and feminists argue that this is an example of the use of sexist language. what does this tell us about the relationship between language and culture?

<span>The relationship between language and culture is shaped in both directions. Language is influenced by culture and vice versa. In this specific case, we can tell that from a specific period in time, language started to use the male version of the world in relation to all mankind, as a culture become more and more male-dominated. </span>

Make a separate list of the religions that believe and don't believe in worshiping idol.
snow_tiger [21]

Answer:

Almost all religions believe in Idol/ Pictorial worship.

All Eastern religions which are (Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, Chinese Folk, Taoism, Confucianism, Shintoism) except for Sikhism believe in Idol worship though Buddha & Jinan may not be Gods.  Sikhism, an Indian religion, does not believe in Idols but worships pictures of Sikh Gurus. Those pictures are garlanded with flowers, silk cloth, and others.

Most Christians worship Idols with exception of Pure Biblical & Protestant Christianity. They emphasize of worship of large marble & golden idols, statues of Jesus, Mary, Father, Cross, etc. Eastern Christianity highly emphasizes on Idol worship.

Central Asian religions like Zoroastrianism worships pictures of Farvarah & Zoroaster, though not Ahura Mazda. Even it involves doing some rites before Idols of Zoroastrian demigods like Mithra. Yazidism highly worships idols of peacock & a diety close to Hindu Karthikeya.

Islam does not believe on Idols but at least resembles worship to the big Idol Kaaba. Muslims visit Mecca, bow before the Kaaba, say some gospels & chants before the idol, circumambulate it, consider it very sacred; all these acts resemble nothing but Kaaba worship.

On the East, they worship pictures of The Kaaba surrounded with a Moon, Star & Mohammad holding a sword with some Arabic stuff written over it. They are even garlanded & incenses are burnt near them.

You own an aircraft which is certificated to carry 8 occupants and has a total of 8 seats installed, including the pilot’s seat.
Alisiya [41]

Answer:

No. It's not possible to fly the aircraft in this scenario.

Explanation:

According to the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration), BasicMed <em>"is an alternate way for pilots to fly without holding an FAA medical certificate as long as they meet certain requirements". </em>The FAA Extension, Safety, Security Act of 2016 (FESSA), established that the following aircraft requirements to fly under BasicMed:

  • Any aircraft authorized under federal law to carry not more than 6 occupants
  • Has a maximum certificated takeoff weight of not more than 6,000 poundS.

So, according to this, the aircraft don't accomplish the FAA requirements to fly under BasicMed.
