We're often wrapped up in personal concerns that are of more immediate importance to us than the messages others are sending .This indicates the impact of Psychological Noise.

What is Psychological Noise?

Psychological noise is the different biases and predispositions that can unconsciously shape how we interpret messages. It refers to our qualities which affect the way in which we interpret others and communicate with them.

For example, if you are preoccupied with personal problems, it is difficult to give your full attention to understanding the meanings of a message. The presence of another person to whom you feel attracted, or perhaps a person you dislike intensely, can also be psychosocial noise that draws your attention away from the message.

Hence , we can say that Our attention is frequently diverted by immediate personal concerns that take precedence over other people's words. This shows how psychological noise affects people.
