To sit still and watch what the people are doing
The convention in 1892 was the first convention held by the people's
party. It was at this convention that the populist party created what
was to be known as the Omaha Platform. It called for social reforms
which would benefit the people behind it, including making such changes
as assisting farmers with the money needed for their labour.
