Answer:

If it is on the maximum, then the y-value of the point cannot be any higher and  still be on the graph of the function. If it is on the minimum, the the y-value of the point cannot be any lower and still be on the graph of the function. If it isn't either the maximum or the minimum, it is neither.

Liono4ka [1.6K]

Answer: 348

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : Total employees work = 725

Proportion of employees are post graduate = 52%

Proportion of employees are not post graduate = 100%-52% = 48%

The number of employees were not post graduate  = 48% of 725

= 0.48 x  725

= 348

Hence, the number of employees were not post graduate  = 348

- (x + 2)2 + (y - 9)2 = 1
telo118 [61]

Answer:

x+y=-5.75

Step-by-step explanation:

Ⓗⓘ ⓣⓗⓔⓡⓔ

Well, you would simply need to use the distributive property!

-(2)x-(2)2+(2)y-(2)9=1

-2x-4+2y-18=1

Then you need to add/subtract so the similar numbers are together.

-2x+2y-22=1

-2x+2y=23

x+2y=-11.5

x+y=-5.75
