The correct answer is "protagonist".

A protagonist is the leading character of a drama production or literary work. All things that happen in the story are either directly or indirectly related to this character.

In "Things Fall Apart", Okonkwo is a warrior and chief of the Umuofia Clan in Nigeria. The story focuses on him, initially mentioning his origins, as the novel tells about his personal story and describes his family. It afterward centers on the experiences he goes through as chief of the Umuofia Clan.

9. Read the following sentences from “The Destructors”: The new recruit had been with the gang since the beginning of the summer
dangina [55]

According to the sentences shared from The Destructors, the word that best describes Trevor is peculiar.

From those sentences we can't tell that Trevor's silence is because he is cautious or introspective. Nothing in those lines tells us any other thing for us to understand that he is one of those two things.

On the other hand, we can know from the sentence "When he said 'Trevor' it was a statement of a fact, not as it would have been with the others a statement of shame or defiance" that he didn't mean to be threatening, so the choice left is C.

Peculiar, as an adjective, means that someone clearly distinguishes from the rest for some personal characteristic. Trevor's attitude is clearly different from the rest of the gang and it is something that distinguishes him.

I need help, can someone please help me! I need to write a two stanzas poem with the ryhme scheme as ABCBBB (16 15 16 15 7). the
mr Goodwill [35]

          Key thing to think about:

- the rhyme scheme as ABCBBB means that "B" lines will all rhyme with the last word

- I think "16 15 16 15 7" is talking about syllable count, so we need to make sure our first line has 16 syllables, etc

I am afraid of the water, as it can be scary down deep

With the unknown terrors lurking beneath the murky, dark blue

The things we do not know under the surface cause me great dread

For unless I find out, these unknown frights will be ringing true

     Because I cannot see through

These great fears of the depths are mighty, and will never go askew

Thinking about the extensive sea can make me queasy

The thoughts swirling of it swallowing you up with jaws of darkness

Your lungs fill quickly with water, unable to breath easy

     Leaves me hugely uneasy

(I am not actually afraid of water lol, but there are a lot of words you can use haha! I hope this will work for your assignment!)

Have a nice day!

I hope this is what you are looking for, but if not - comment! I will edit and update my answer accordingly. (ノ^∇^)
