To put this in notation form we would have to move the decimal to be in between the 8 and 3
so since we moved it only one time this is what it looks like now
8.3041
and in order to make it equal 83.041 we multiply it by 10 sooo your answer...
<span>8.3041 x 10
</span>and it would be the same thing if we were to write
<span>8.3041 x 10</span>¹
if we wanted to check our answer to make sure it correct we would solve it to see if we get 83.041
8.3041 x 10 = 83.041 hey look its correct:)
hope this is helpful:)

A barrel contains 15 1/3 liters of water. 3/4 of the water was used to water plants.
liq [111]
Change the 15 1/3 to an improper fraction (46/3). Next multiply this by (3/4).
(46/3)(3/4) = 46/4 = 23/2 = 11.5 gallons was used to water the plants

15 1/3 - 11 1/2 = 46/3 - 23/2 = 92/6 - 69/6 = 23/6 = 3 5/6 gallons of water are left in the barrel

PLEASE HELP ME FAST! THIS IS A SIMPLE TRIG PROBLEM BUT I SKIPPED CLASS.
NikAS [45]

we can factor the whole thing:

(2sin(x) -1)(sin(x)+1) = 0.

Therefore, sin(x) = -1 and sin(x) = 1/2.

For the first one x = 3π/2 and the second is π/6 and 5π/6

So 3π/2, π/6 and 5π/6 are the solutions.

I do kind of have a problem with this because it doesn't mention if you should go over 360°. Otherwise, you have to add in an 2nπ into the equations like 3π/2 + 2nπ; n \in \mathbb{W}

but I don't know if that is necessary for you.

I REALLY NEED HELP PLEASE
Nezavi [6.7K]

Answer:

10

Step-by-step explanation:

given

\frac{s + ( - 7)}{ - 1}

we first need to simplify the expression before we find it's value when s=-3

positive times negative=negative

so the equation becomes

\frac{s - 7}{ - 1}

substituting s=-3 into the equation.

\frac{ - 3 - 7}{ - 1}

=

\frac{ - 10}{ - 1}

=the negatives cancel out leaving

= 10
