Answer:

The length of the rectangle = 63 ft

Step-by-step explanation:

Let us assume the width of the rectangle = m ft

So, the length of the rectangle = 3 x Width = 3 x m = 3 m ft

Perimeter = 168 ft

PERIMETER OF A RECTANGLE = 2 (LENGTH + WIDTH)

⇒ 168 ft = 2 ( 3 m + m)

or, 168 = 2 ( 4 m)

or, 8 m = 168

⇒ m = 168/8 = 21

or, m = 21 ft

Hence, the width of the rectangle = m = 21 ft

And the length of the rectangle = 3 x m = 3 x 21 = 63 ft

Choose the correct description of the graph of the compound inequality: x − 2 > −3 and 3x less than or equal to 12
ziro4ka [17]
From the first inequality x > 2 - 3 so x> -1
and from the second:- x <= 4
so the graph will be a number line with an open circle at x = -1 and a closed circle at x = 4 and the line is shaded in between.
