W.E.B. Du Bois was an outspoken critic of which fellow African American?
hodyreva [135]
WEB Du Bois was an outspoken critic of Booker T Washington. Du Bois believed the road towards ending racism would come from the most skilled and educated African Americans occupying positions like doctors and lawyers. Du Bois felt that would show that African Americans can be just as, if not more so, successful as white Americans. He disliked Booker T Washington's stances because Washington felt the answer to racism would come from African Americans occupying low-skilled jobs at first in order for a large mass of them to prove their mettle and ability to support society from the bottom-up.

The Zimmermann Telegram became a message sent by German Secretary of State Arthur Zimmermann to the German Embassy in Washington, D.C. on January 12, 1917, and was forwarded to the German representative in Mexico. In an exceedingly message, Zimmermann urged German diplomats that if the u. s. attacks the us, he should notify the Mexican government.

Germany, as an ally, could provide Mexico with “useful economic assistance,” and therefore the next proposal is “a know-how for Mexico to recapture its refuges in Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona.” , said that Germany intended to launch all-out submarine warfare on February 1, which could drive the Americans to war against Germany.
