Answer:water moves out of the cell and it undergoes plasmolysis

Explanation:algae cells are plant cell.they have chlorophyll, carotenoids and phycobillins as their photosynthetic pigments.

They also possesses cellulose cell walls .

During osmosis, water moves from a region of low concentration of solute to a region of high concentration of solute.

In the above case, both the algae cell and it's surrounding solution has the same concentration of solute . however as solute is added to the solution it becomes more concentrated and water moves out of the algae cell .As the cell continues to lose water, the cell body pulls away from the cell wall causing a phenomenon called plasmolysis.

If humans continue to reduce the amount of CFD’s emitted into the atmosphere what might happen to the ozone layer. Can someone p
Leya [2.2K]

Answer:

The Ozone Layer would repair

Explanation:

CFC's are chlorofluorocarbons. They generally eat the ozone layer. It stands to reason that a reduction in CFC's would reduce the depletion of the ozone layer allowing it to slowly repair itself through natural processes.

g A ________________ gradient is directly used to provide the energy for ATP synthesis in the mitochondria.
adelina 88 [10]

Answer:

Elerochemical gradient

Explanation:This coccus during  the  process of  chemiosmosis in oxidative phosphorylation during cellular respiration. It is the  electrochemical gradient that provides the energy  needed by ATPase Synthase for the phosphorylation of ADP tp ATP, necessary for ATP production

The electochemical gradient is due to  gradient produced from the pumping of protons by the proton  motive force(PMF) into the intrammenbrane space. from the matrix. The accumulation leads the the production of electrochemical gradients because the Protons diffuse across  from higher gradient in the intramembrsne space into the lower concentration gradient the matrix. Therefore, energy is produced  as the diffusion takes place.

The ETC, is the source of generation of PMF, which pumps protons across into the intramembrane, for the electrochemical gradients productions

Why are some of us more prone than others to coronary heart disease?
cricket20 [7]
"Coronary heart disease, North America’s number one cause of death, has been linked with the competitive, hard-driving, impatient, and (especially) anger-prone Type A personality. Under stress, the body of a reactive, hostile person secretes more of the hormones that accelerate the buildup of plaque on the heart’s artery walls. Type B personalities are more relaxed and easygoing. Chronic stress also contributes to persistent inflammation, which heightens the risk of clogged arteries and depression."

OR

Coronary heart disease (CHD) could be the thinning or impediment in the coronary thrombosis veins, normally brought on by coronary artery disease. Coronary artery disease (at times termed “stiffing” or maybe “blocking” in the arterial blood vessels) may be the build-up associated with trans fat and fatty deposits (named plaques) around the intrinsic artery walls.
