Answer:

A) cleavage

Explanation:

The Muscovite was named after the popular name of the mineral: "Glass of Muscovy" as it was used as glass in ancient Russia (Muscovy). Muscovite is one of the minerals that has better transparency, better dielectric strength and greater cleavage perfection, and can easily be separated into tiny reeds. It is a petent mineral to the group of Micas (phyllic silicates) with ideal molecular formula: KAl2 (Si3Al) O10 (OH, F) 2. Mica, from Latin micare (shine), is the name given to a group of silicates, consisting basically of aluminum, sodium or potassium and often iron and magnesium crystallized in the monoclinic system with one obvious feature: a stacking of very thin leaves, that can be highlighted easily.

Using the macroscopic method of analysis to differentiate Muscovite from Biotite, transparency will soon be noted, but due to the impurities present in it, it may also rarely be found with a pink or brown color, and for this distinction Muscovita is called white mica. while Biotite is called black mica. Micas are also known to be very thin and any weight changes on them can cause cracking and even breaking.
