Descartes was the father of "foundational epistemology" . This is a theory of knowledge that tries to find a basis for saying one knows by starting from a few "unassailable" beliefs. So, he used a method of radical doubt, looking closely at his beliefs and finding out which ones could be doubted without contradiction, and found that most could. He stumbled upon the fact that even to doubt one exists requires that one exists to have the doubt. Thus, his words are best translated "I am conscious, therefore I exist".

HACTEHA [7]

Answer:

A. True

Explanation:

The given statement is true.

Contemporary poetry (also known as free verse) is a type of poetry that appeared around the 1950s (however, some say that it appeared as early as the start of the 1920s). Some traits of contemporary poetry are:

 • inconsistent meter
 • irregular rhyme scheme
 • the varying length of lines
 • inconsistent regard for standard poetic structure

This type of poetry confounds those who recognize only the traditional closed forms of poetry.
