Most likely,market economies would discourage or have minimal social programs because they don’t want government interfering with the economy. Whereas mixed economies would most likely encourage or accept social programs because these economies allow government help in making life better for the group( example: Canada). Although market economies want minimal government interference, they have some social programs, just not as many as mixed economies. (Example: United States)
