Explanation:

Mathematics developed in the Egypt from 3000 BC to 300 BC. The development lasted from Old Kingdom until the Hellenistic period. They used numeral system for solving mathematical problems and counting. Egyptian number system was composed of seven symbols and these seven symbols were used for denoting numbers. Multiplication and fraction was also used by them. Although very few evidences of the Egyptian mathematics survive, surviving sources indicate that they knew about geometry, volume, surface area, algebra, three dimensional shapes(Used in the architectural engineering) and quadratic equations.

<em>Numerals were helpful for teaching children to count and assessing taxes, the knowledge of three dimensions helped in building better buildings like the pyramids.</em>
