Why do Helios and Boreas agree to have the<br> contest?
Alborosie

Answer:

A dispute of power.

Explanation:

Helios and Boreas agreed to a competition to prove who was the most powerful between the two. Boreas, The Northern Wind, tried to blow the man's clothing off with all of his might. The more he tried, the tighter and more snug the garment became. Boreas called to Helios to prove his strength. Helios, The Bright Sun, shone his warm rays of light upon the man, and slowly he took off his cloak.

I love Greek mythology, so I hope this helps! :)

Marta_Voda [28]

Answer:

Okonkwo was inwardly pleased at his son’s development, and he knew it was due to Ikemefuna. He wanted Nwoye to grow into a tough young man capable of ruling his father’s household when he was dead and gone to join the ancestors. He wanted him to be a prosperous man, having enough in his barn to feed the ancestors with regular sacrifices. And so he was always happy when he heard him grumbling about women.

Explanation:

This quote shows Okonkwo wanting Nwoye to be successful and carry out Okonkwo's legacy as his son and how Nwoye has already begun to adopt Okonkwo's traits.

The blood vessels that are present in the brain are almost 100,000 miles in length.

There are 100 billion neurons present in the brain.

In early pregnancy, the neurons develop at an alarming rate of 250,000 per minute.

As we grow older, we are unable to remember new things. According to the researchers in the US it is because the brain is unable to filter and remove old memories which prevent it from absorbing new ideas.
