The vegetation present here are evergreen and there is a competition among the plants to get sufficient light. Therefore, the plants are tall having broadleaf in the canopy layer of the forest. At the base of the forest, there are shrubs, bushes are present. There are many vines and creepers are found. They climb the tall trees to get the light. These are the adaptation of the plants to survive in this humid condition. As there is no dry condition there is no fall in plants and they are evergreen. The Amazon rainforest of South America, Madagascar, Andaman and Nicobar Islands are coming under the tropical rainforest. The Amazon rainforest is also called the lungs of the earth.
