Multiple pros and cons of teacher's being armed.
Two pros:
- To protect their students and themselves during an active shooting
- They wouldn't be defenseless during a shooting
Why shouldn't they? (Cons) - They might use the gun to discipline their students.
- A child could find and use the firearm.
- It's not the teacher's job to be a bodyguard for the students.
- The students may feel unsafe around the teacher.
