Factor x2 + 10x + 25. Show your work.

Factors would be:
(x+5)(x+5)

in order to factor the equation, both numbers would have to be able to be multiplied to get 25 and have to add up to 10.
a+b=c where x2 is a, 10x is b and 25 is c. The factors to get 25 would be 1 and 25 or 5 and 5. Now, you need to figure out which two add up to 10 which is 5 and 5. 5 times 5 is 25 which is your C and 5 plus 5 is your b.
