I'll have to assume the bolded terms, but it's usually just the most unusual word in the sentence. if i answer one of them choosing the wrong bolded word, let me know.

4. "burnished" -- this word means polishing or rubbing. your answer should be B.

5. "casement" -- this is another word for window. your answer is A.

6. "temper" -- this usually relates to emotionality, so i think your best choice is C, frame of mind. way of speaking would be someone's tone and work ethic/singing don't really make sense.

7. "symmetry" -- in general, this word means that something is balanced or the same on either side of a divider. for example, a square is symmetrical if you draw a line straight down the middle. the letter A is symmetrical if you draw a line straight down the middle. i would say the answer is A, balanced form.

8. "sylvan" -- this word means something along the lines of woods, so B should be your answer. i remember this word by thinking "sylvia went to the woods" as sylvia and slyvan have similar starts.
