Mila [183]

Answer:

the Hittites bringing iron into Mesopotamia

Explanation:

A diffusion is a process in which two or more cultures communicate, share, adopt, introduce cultural elements, technology, ideas. In this case we have the Hittites from Asia Minor that have developed the iron-work. Once they did, they saw that it is something that has a great potential for numerous things, be it fro making better weapons, tools for work and agriculture, elements for the household etc. They spread their knowledge and technology in the region, namely in Mesopotamia. The people of Mesopotamia were impressed by the potential of the iron, so they adopted it without thinking twice. In this manner, the people of Mesopotamia accepted something that was foreign, something developed and brought to them by other civilization. Both civilizations benefited from this, as Mesopotamia got new excellent material, while the Hittites got a lot of wealth and goods for it.
