the correct form of the plural in the examples are :
glasses, taxes, atlases, porches
the reason is because when a regular noun ends in S,SH,CH or X, you need to write ES to make the plural.
the second bit is more formal, " You're six years old, aren't you?"
because, the other sounds very demanding or imperative, like as if you have to answer the question. so, it has to be the second line.
