The Pyrenees are a mountain range in the western part of Europe. This mountain range is a natural boundary between the Iberian Peninsula and the rest of Western Europe.

This mountain range has formed as part of the Alpine orogenesis. The Alpine orogenesis has been triggered by the movement of Africa toward Europe, so the pressure created between the African and Eurasian tectonic plates has managed to lift up the land and create mountains, including the Pyrenees.

The Pyrenees are considered as young mountain range, and their formation is still not ended, but instead they are still growing in size and elevation.

These mountains make up the border between the nations of Spain, on the south from them, and France, on the north of them. There is one very small nations located on the mountains themselves, that being Andorra.

Why is it likely that the nazca and Moche civilization Were aware of each other
nalin [4]

It is likely that the Moche and Nazca civilizations were aware of each other because there are lot of artifacts that are found that suggest so.

Explanation:

The Moche civilization and the Nazca civilization are both ancient civilizations of South America. Both of the were located in the coastal area of what is now Peru. These two early civilizations are considered to be some of the predecessors of the later civilizations in the region, such as the Inca civilization.

The Moche and Nazca civilization existed in part in a same period of time. Not just that, but they were bordering each other, with the Moche being on the north, and the Nazca being on the south. It is almost certain that these two civilizations were aware of one another and had developed relations because there has been lot of artifacts of Nazca origin found at Moche sites, and lot of artifacts of Moche origin found on Nazca sits.

Some facts about these civilizations are:

  • Moche existed from 100 AD to 750 AD
  • Nazca existed from 200 BC to 600 AD
  • Both were coastal civilizations
  • They had well developed architecture
  • The Nazca were making geoglyphs

Why is it ironic that Blackie spoils the Shy Man's plan to rob the house? *hint* Irony is the what happens when you expect one t
grigory [225]

This question is about "The Mixer".

Answer:

The irony is established because Blackie was to help Shy Man steal the house.

Explanation:

As was said in the question above, irony is a literary resource that shows a situation totally contrary to what the reader was expecting. This feature is used to surprise the reader and make the story less cliché and predictable, but innovative and stimulating. In the case of "The Mixer", we see an example of irony when Blackie, who was supposed to help Shy Man to steal a house, ends up disturbing and putting the whole plan to waste.

We have direct experimental evidence (from large particle accelerators) for the physical conditions in the universe back to abou
Nady [450]

Answer:

c. 10-10 seconds

Explanation:

To be able to penetrate very deeply into the matter we need to generate very high energies, we need somehow very energetic particles that can test very small distances inside the matter. And for that you have to build particle accelerators. For example, a proton is a constituent of the atom, the nucleus of the hydrogen atom. These particles accelerate in an accelerator until they reach speeds very close to the speed of light and the highest energies ever before reached by a man-made instrument on earth.

Then with these high energies we test the small distances, the deepest structure of matter and what is interesting is that by producing these enormous energies in a laboratory and in a tiny microscopic region of space we are reproducing the conditions that were present in our universe primitive. Actually in fractions of seconds after the Big Bang.

Technology is enough for us today to reach 10 ^ (- 10) seconds after the Big Bang (ie 0.0000000001 seconds).
