Answer:

g(f(0))=-3

Step-by-step explanation:

we have

f(x)=x^{2}

g(x)=x-3

we know that

(g o f)(x)=g(f(x))

substitute the variable x in the function g(x) by the function f(x)

so

g(f(x))=x^{2}-3

Evaluate g(f(0))

For x=0

g(f(0))=0^{2}-3

g(f(0))=-3

If JM = 5x – 8 and LM = 2x – 6, which expression represents JL?
serg [7]

Answer: 3x-2

Step-by-step explanation:

My explanation is if you were to write this down, i drew "J", "K", "L", and "M" down from left to write on a line w/ points and then i wrote that " J M " = 5 x - 8, and that " L M " = 2 x - 6, and then subtracted ( 5 x - 8 ) by ( 2 x - 6 ) which would look like this:

                           ( 5 x - 8 ) - ( 2 x - 6 )

The reason i subtracted the total length of the entire number line is because the length of " L M " is part of the total length so you would have to subtract in order to find " J L " because then you wouldn't have to have " L M ". The correct answer is "3 x - 2"

Eleven members of the Middle School Math Club each paid the same amount for a guest speaker to talk about problem solving at the
romanna [79]
So, it's a 3 digit number that is divisible by 11, and starts with a 1, and ends with a 1.

each of them paid the same amount, let's say y and we know that if we multiply this y by 11, we'll have a number with a "2" at the end: so the last digit of y must be 2, since only 2*1=2

also, the first digit of y must be 1, since the first digit of the 3-digit number is 1.

so lets try what happens if they all pay 12 dollars? the sum is 132, so A must be 3!!!
