Everyone struggles with word problems. I doubt that you are stupid ....you are smart enough to use brainly!!!

All bags (whether they are school bags or hand bags) cost $5.20 each.

How much would it cost if Anthony purchased 1 bag? $5.20 · 1

How much would it cost if Anthony purchased 2 bags? $5.20 · 2

How much would it cost if Anthony purchased 3 bag3? $5.20 · 3

Do you see a pattern?

So, how much would it cost to purchase "s" bags? $5.20 · s

So, how much would it cost to purchase "h" bags? $5.20 · h

What is the Total cost to purchase "s" and "h" bags? $5.20 · s plus $5.20 · h

Answer: T = 5.20s + 5.20h

Pretty sure the answer would be 5.20s + 5.20h = T

What is the median of the following numbers? 1, 2, 2, 8, 9, 14
sesenic [268]

Answer: 5

Step-by-step explanation: The median is the middle number in the data set when the data set is written from least to greatest.

Notice that our data set is already written from least to greatest.

1, 2, 2, 8, 9, 14

Notice that in this data set, there is no middle number directly because 2 and 8 fall directly in the middle. In this situation, we take the average of these two middle numbers and divide their sum by 2.

Since 2 and 8 are the numbers that appear in the middle, we add them.

2 + 8 gives us 10.

Now we divide 10 by 2 to get 5.

So the median of this data set is 5.

Plz help solve,
velocity units are ft/min

Alex Ar [27]

Answer:

t = 11 min

and

t = 18 min

Step-by-step explanation:

When we have unidimensional motion, the sign of the velocity defines the direction.

So we could say that a positive velocity like:

v = 4ft/min

Means that you are moving to the right with a speed of 4 feet per minute.

And a negative velocity like:

v = -3 ft/min

means that you are moving to the left with a speed of 3 feet per minute.

Then the bug changes direction when the velocity changes of sign.

In the graph, we can see that the velocity changes of sing in two points, these points are:

t = 11 min

and

t = 18 min

The answers are D.)3, B.) Values were not subtracted from each side, and A.) The substitution property of equality

What is a straight line?

A straight line is a combination of endless points joined on both sides of the point.

We have;

UX=WZ

VW=XY

In line 3 the statement does not justify.

Because values were not subtracted from each side.

The reason should be substitution property of equality.

Thus, the answers are D.)3, B.) Values were not subtracted from each side, and A.) The substitution property of equality

suppose cary could run .5(1/2) of a mile in 4.00 minutes, what is the amount of time it would take cary to reach each distance
Helga [31]

Answer: 0.7272 minutes = 43.632 sec

Step-by-step explanation:

Cary could run 5½ miles in 4 minutes,

How minutes would it take her to complete 1 mile?

5½miles = 11/2 miles = 5.5 miles.

5.5 miles = 4 minutes

1 miles = x minute

x = (1 * 4) / 5.5

X = 0.7272 minutes = 43.632 seconds

Cary used 43.632 seconds to complete 1 mile
