You would use distributive property to solve so it would be 27 plus 3x equals 51

27 + 3x = 51 subtract 27 (51 minus 27 is 24)

3x=24 divide both sides by 3

x equals 8

Find the area of the shape. Either enter an exact answer in terms of \piπpi or use 3.143.143, point, 14 for \piπpi and enter you
Len [333]

Answer:

Area of given figure = 37.68 unit²

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

Radius of given shape = 4 unit

Angle = 270°

Value of π = 3.14

Find:

Area of given figure

Computation:

Area of given figure = [Ф/360][πr²]

Area of given figure = [270/360][(3.14)(4)²]

Area of given figure = [0.75][(3.14)16]

Area of given figure = [0.75][50.24]

Area of given figure = 37.68 unit²

What is six less than three raised to the third power?
Nataliya [291]

Answer:

21

Step-by-step explanation:

Three raise to third power can be written as 3^3. In this three is the base which is raised to third power.

3^3 = 3*3*3 = 27

Next we need to subtract 6 from Three raise to third power(i.e from 27)

which can be written mathematically as

3^3 - 6 = 3*3*3 - 6 \\=> 27 - 6 = 21

Hence 6 less  than three raised to the third power is 21 as explained above.

Need help will give Brainly
asambeis [7]

Answer:

x = 323 in

Step-by-step explanation:

Given triangles are similar, so their corresponding sides would be in proportion:

3ft = 3*12 = 36 in

5ft 8 in = 5*12 + 8 = 68 in

14 ft 3 in = 14*12 + 3 = 171 in

\frac{3 \: ft}{14 \: ft \: 3 \: in}  =  \frac{5 \: ft \: 8 \: in}{x}  \\  \\  \frac{36}{171}  =  \frac{68}{x}  \\  \\ x =  \frac{171 \times 68}{36}  \\  \\ x =   \frac{11628}{36}  \\  \\ x = 323 \: in \:  \\  \\ x = 26 ft \: 11  in
