Why do you think the United States has a constitution? What role does a written constitution play in everyday US society?
krok68 [10]
The United States has the Constitution because in the begining the Articles of Confederation didn't work for their old government, so they needed to build a new government, which is the constitution. The role it plays in everyday US society is that without it we wouldn't have the laws we have today, or the branches, which are the judiciary, legislative, and executive branches, and government wouldn't work the way it does today.

Cesar chavez was instrumental in forming what organization?
tekilochka [14]
I agree with the person above - Cesar Chavez was instrumental in forming the United Farm Workers (of America).
It refers to a labor union of employees in America, and it stands to protect their rights. It was founded in 1965 by merging two labor unions, one led by Larry Itliong, and the other by Cesar Chavez. Together, they organized many strikes and protests in order to fight for their rights as laborers.
