In your opinion, which reason of exploration had the greatest impact on human history? Be sure to justify your answer.
Alex787 [66]

Answer:

In my opinion, the reasons for exploration that impacted humanity were to find and establish new trade routes and search for new conquerable lands.

Explanation:

The most important reason for exploration in ancient times was to find better forms of mobility and commercial transportation.

In addition, for many explorers, the desire for exploration was given by numerous rumors and myths about riches in other lands.

Just as the Spanish crown did when they invaded America to exploit the gold of these lands.

In 1850 when was the slave trade banned
mars1129 [50]

Hello there!

Your answer would be September 20, 1850.

On that day, Congress signed to abolish the slavery trade that was in the District of Columbia in a legislative package called the Compromise of 1850. Even though the slave trade has discontinued, the ownership of slaves continued since this law did not apply to slave ownership. Especially people that live in southern parts of the United States were not happy for things like this to happen, and they wouldn't like slavery to be abolished for good.

Which group was most affected by the passage of the Fifteenth Amendment?
kolbaska11 [484]

The group most affected by the passage of the 15 amendment were African Americans older than 21, because they could now vote. The US Constitution in its 15 amendment declared that it was the right of all American citizens to vote. Furthermore, it specified that this right could not be denied, bases on race, color or for being in a condition of slavery previously by any State in the Union.

Even tough the 15 amendment was passed in 1870, many blacks were still afraid to vote and they actually received treats, and their houses were set on fire by hate groups. More than 100 years had to pass for African Americans to get the courage to vote.

It was not until the Voting Rights Act was passed in 1965 that most African Americans mostly in the south, were finally registered to vote
