Okay, think of an essay or paragraph as like stating your opinion. Here’s how to break it down so it’s a little easier:

Paragraph 1 - Introduction.
Provide background information on the topic. Give about 1-2 sentences on what the topic is about, and for the 3rd sentence, put in a statement that IS your argument.
For example, “French fries are the best food ever because they are delicious.”

Paragraph 2 - Conflict.
Elaborate on your argument/thesis statement. Since that seems to be your conflict, describe something hard you’ve been through. What was hard about it? How did it affect you?

Paragraph 3 - Response
Elaborate more on how the conflict affected you personally. If you can, try to connect it to a bigger picture or theme.
For example, “I broke my leg in middle school as a result of a basketball injury. Therefore, we should eliminate school sports because they cause injuries.”
It’s a reach, but that’s the entire point of connecting to a bigger theme.

Paragraph 4 - Explain Response
Here is where you’re going to connect your response in paragraph 3 to a bigger picture. Talk about the outcome and effect you showed in paragraph 3.

The questions mentioned should help you- break it down in a way that you understand. I tried to simplify this for you in the easiest way possible, I hope it helps and good luck :)

Rasek [7]
Answer is a

*The correct answer is IJ = JK

•explanation:

Given:
AB is the perpendicular bisector of
IK. ⇒ AB divides the line segment IK in two equal parts i.e. IJ = JK and the angle formed at the point of intersection J is 90° ⇒ ∠AJI = 90°. In ΔAIJ, By angle sum property of a triangle ∠AJI + ∠AIJ + ∠IAJ = 180° ( But ∠AJI = 90° ) ∠AIJ + ∠IAJ = 90° ⇒ ∠IAJ < 90° So, ∠IAJ is not a right angle. Its not given IK is a perpendicular bisector so AJ = BJ need NOT be true. As A does not lie on the line IK so A can not be the mid point of IK.

•Hence, we conclude the correct statement is IJ = JK

Anika [276]

Answer:

d. All of the above

Explanation:

A scale can be defined as an ordered numerical or alphabetical sequence that is typically used for taking measurements such as size, weight, height, length, etc. Also, a scale is used in the field of science to assign magnitude to physical activities and natural phenomenons such as an earthquake using the Richter scale.

In Science, there are four (4) main scales of measurement and these includes;

1. Interval scale: data can be arranged in an ordering scheme and subtracting its differences is meaningful. Examples are year, temperature, time etc.

2. Ratio scale: data can be arranged in an ordering scheme and subtracting its differences is meaningful with respect to the value of true zero. Examples are height, price, weight, distance etc.

3. Ordinal scale: data can be arranged in an ordering scheme but subtracting its differences is meaningless or impossible. Examples are happy, sad etc.

4. Nominal scale: it is characterized by data that are non-numerical, comprises of categories, labels or names and can't be arranged in an ordering scheme.

Hence, scales can represent;

a. A range of information.

b. A range of resources.

c. Proportional measurement.

The trade winds are winds that blow toward the Equator. Which of these is the main cause of the trade winds? A. the Earth's rota
dem82 [27]

Answer: A. The rotation of the earth on it's axis.

Explanation:

The rotation of the Earth on its axis deflects the atmosphere toward the right in the Northern Hemisphere and toward the left in the Southern Hemisphere, resulting in curved paths. The deflection of the atmosphere sets up the complex global wind patterns which drive surface ocean currents. This deflection is called the Coriolis effect. It is named after the French mathematician Gaspard Gustave de Coriolis (1792-1843), who studied the transfer of energy in rotating systems like waterwheels. (Ross, 1995).
