Answer:

United States made Cuba a protectorate to best serve its interests. By enforcing the Teller amendment that that ensures that U.s would not control the island except for pacification but the Platt amendment grant them the right to buy or lease land for the coaling station and naval bases. U.S intervention was always there which could not be held by granting Sovereignty.

Which event did Roosevelt refer to as "a day that will live in infamy"?
marusya05 [52]

Answer:

Pearl Harbor

Explanation:

The President's description of December 7, 1941 as "a date which will live in infamy" was borne out; the date very quickly became shorthand for the Pearl Harbor attack in much the same way that November 22, 1963 and September 11, 2001 became inextricably associated with the assassination of John F.

What was one result of the Babylonian takeover of the Kingdom of Judah?
vodomira [7]

The Babylonians destroyed the Temple of Jerusalem.

Explanation:

The Babylonians did not preserve Israelite culture and customs, did not blend their culture with Israelite culture, and only Judah was taken over by Assyria. I also know that after Persia freed the Israelites from Babylon, and then freed the Israelites completely, they had to rebuild their temple.
