Answer:

The correct answer is "It conveys a sense of power and uncontrollability".

Explanation:

The play "Oedipus Rex" is an Athenian tragedy by Sophocles at which the protagonist and his family have a tragic ending as they are exiled from everything they had. In the quote herein shown the word "surging" is used to describe a "tide of terrible disaster". The author uses the word "surging" to describe the tide as something powerful and uncontrollable. This is a metaphor to Oedipus tragedy, which he believed was his destiny to suffer.

nydimaria [60]

Answer:

My auntie.

Explanation:

I admire my auntie. I admire her because she has never led me down the wrong path. She is very supportive and caring. She is super funny and fun to be around. She is very positive and never does anything negative. She is a good influence for me. I think it is important to have someone special to you that can help you do better. In life I feel like you need to have someone supportive. I appreciate her very much and I never doubt her. If she was to tell me that she had 1000 dollars to give me I wouldn't say no you don't. I trust her very much. She is a great role model. I want to be like her one day. I don't ever want to be without her. She is so amazing.

Why is this sentence not a thesis statement? Why is elementary school success an indicator of graduation rates?
Likurg_2 [28]
It is not a thesis statement because it does not show your opinion on the research you would be conducting. In a research paper you would either try to confirm that they are not an indicator, or that they are an indicator. You wouldn't write a question such as this.

Well, if you want them to be, the try this:

1: They, if used properly, can help many people with simple tasks, like getting things that might be too high for them

2: They can be used in many different and useful ways, like even being a substitute for a service dog

3: they are just really fun!

However, if you support the other side of the debate, then make sure to include that there have been certain accidents with them (painful ones)...

Hope this helped a little!
