The main purpose of The United States after Cuba's independence was an American adhesion of the island, the location of the Country was a profitable place to expand business and industry, but following a war, where the U.S took place against Spain there was a long unilateral relationship  with Cuba, in which this country could only make treaties with the United States.

The Cuban war of independence affects American interests in different ways, the business activities as previously mentioned, the slave trade, and the Platt Amendment survival that during 33 years controlled the commercial, political and economic relations between both nations, besides of the strategic location of a US naval base in Guantanamo which meant another advantage for America.

What contributed the most to the coming of the american revolution?
Drupady [299]
The 13 colonies believed that they deserved all the rights that people in Britain had, while Britain thought that the 13 colonies were best used in a way that benefited their country (crown, parliament). The British tried to impose taxes on the colonies because King George III had spent a lot of money on the French and Indian War. The colonies were outraged. One of the most famous outcries was the Boston Tea Party (taxed tea was shipped out and a bunch of colonists dressed up as Indians decided to throw the tea into the ocean)

andreyandreev [35.5K]

Answer:

A) Locke's interpretation focused on the protection of individual rights.

Explanation:

Locke believed that humans deserved basic rights protected by the government, and that the government should only serve to protect those rights.
