Palabras por el acento
Según las reglas de la gramática y ortografía, las palabras por el acento se dividen en agudas, graves, esdrújulas y sobreesdrújulas. ¿qué son las palabras agudas, graves, esdrújulas y sobreesdrújulas? Primero veamos las definiciones de sílaba, acento y tilde.

Sílaba
Sílaba es la letra o unión de letras que se pronuncia en un solo golpe de voz. El orden de la sílabas comenzando por el final de las palabras es: última penúltima antepenúltima y trasantepenúltima.
Acento
Acento es la mayor fuerza de voz con que se pronuncia determinada sílaba de una palabra.
Tilde
Rayita que a veces se pone en las vocales para denotar la acentuación de una sílaba.
Aguda
Las palabras que llevan el acento en la última sílaba se llaman agudas.
Grave
Las palabras que llevan el acento en la penúltima sílaba se llaman graves o llanas.
Esdrújula
Las palabras que llevan el acento en la antepenúltima sílaba se llaman esdrújulas.
Sobresdrújula
Las palabras que llevan el acento en la trasantepenúltima sílaba se llaman sobresdrújulas.
