It could be argued that romeo and juliet’s relationship is a phase because romeo fell in love with juliet based off her looks. romeo had previously been in “love” with another woman prior to juliet. neither romeo not juliet took the time to get to know each other. their relationship was mostly based on lust for each other. juliet was a child when she met romeo and it could be argued that she believed herself to be in “love” with the first man who showered her with attention. had romeo and juliet had time to develop their relationship, it would’ve mostly likely ended in them getting bored off each other.

How did Jethro compare his feelings toward his father with those he had for President Lincoln?
11111nata11111 [884]
In the start of the book, disappointed with the alert and restriction practiced by the two men, Jethro analyzes his dad to Abe Lincoln. Jethro's sister Mary has as of late passed on because of the carelessness of Travis Burdow, and when a furious swarm composes to chase down the young fellow and hang him for his wrongdoing, Jethro's dad Matt Creighton intercedes, asking the men "to keep their hands free of further carnage". Despite the fact that the casualty of Burdow's inebriated activities is his own little girl, Matt Creighton is a well behaved, empathetic man, and he can beat his own particular outrage and sadness to maintain the peace as it concerns Mary's executioner.

Answer:

I recently had to confront a bias in myself that I hadn’t really been aware of. I was reading an article we’re going to publish in the fall which looks at what Gulf countries are doing with the massive amounts of cash they’ve built up. They’re investing in their own infrastructure and also investing heavily in Northern Africa, China, India, and the rest of Asia. Something about the article made me uneasy. It didn’t take me long to realize I was uncomfortable because North America and Western Europe were barely mentioned. I guess that at some primitive, implicit, indefensible level, I still think that the United States and Western Europe are the center of the universe, and I get worried when that’s not the case.

I immediately went next door to my colleague Anand Raman, who’s Indian, and confessed. “I just realized you guys are taking over,” I said, mostly joking. “It was weird to feel invisible.” Anand laughed. “We’re not taking over,” he said. “But we might achieve parity.”

Have you had surprising moments of clarity at work, when you realized you were more biased than you’d thought? Any suggestions for managing bias
