I believe the answer is vain. All of the others don't really sound right in that sentence.

Vain is the correct answer. Plug in each word given into the sentence and then read it to see if the sentence makes sense.
"We may try in credibility to solve our problems on our own.." Credibility is incorrect.
"We may try in predict to solve our problems on our own.." Predict is incorrect.
"We may try in forgive to solve our problems on our own.." Forgive is incorrect.

"We may try in vain to solve our problems on our own.." Vain is correct!

Hope this helps! (:

Can you create a poem about money, greed, and love. At least 10 lines.
marissa [1.9K]

Answer:

Outside I'm silver

Inside I'm gold

If you broke me in half

Would I still be as bold

Avarice, a dream

Everything in green, sold

If you broke us in half

Would you still be as cold

With wealth to be rechanged

Or greed to be rearranged

[This isn't my best. I have better poems, but I tried given the prompt. Hopefully this helps. You may use it word for word if you'd like.]
