What we can do to solve this problem is the following rule of three:
 2 weeks ---> 7 stamps
 7 weeks ---> x
 Clearing x we have:
 x = (7/2) * 7 = 24.5
 The other rule of three is:
 2 weeks ---> 7 stamps
 5 weeks ---> x
 Clearing x we have:
 x = (5/2) * (7) = 17.5
 You have the following inequality
 17.5 <x <24.5
 Thus
 x = 22
 answer:
 Alice collect between week 5 and week 7, 22 stamps.
 D.22

The community college fine arts department sold three kinds of tickets to its latest dance presentation. The adult tickets sold
lana [24]

Answer:adult=75

Students = 200

Children=75

Step-by-step explanation:

Let x= adult tickets, y=students, z=child

x+y+z =350

Since x=z

y+2z= 350 -----------1

20x +12y + 10z = 4650

Since y=z

12y +30z = 4650 --------2

Using elimination method to solve eqn 1&2

Multiply eqn 1 by 12

12y + 24z = 4200

12y +30z = 4650

Subtract equ 2 from 1

-6z =-450

z=75, x = 75

y=350 -(75+75)

y= 200 tickets

Which of the following formulas would find the surface area of a right cone where s is the slant height r is the radius, LA is t
Darina [25.2K]

Answer:

Option A and Option C

Step-by-step explanation:

The surface area of a cone can be calculated with this formula:

SA=\pi r^2+\pi rs (This matches with the option A)

Where \pi rl is the lateral area of the cone (Being "s" the slant height) and \pi r^2 is the area of the base of the cone (which is a circle).

You know that BA the is the area of the base and LA the lateral area of the cone.

Then, substituting into the formula for calculate the surface area of a cone, you get:

SA=BA+LA

This matches with the option C
