A family at the beach

The family at the beach in the window is dressed for the beach. This is in direct contrast to the speaker and her father who are dressed much more formally. Her father is in a three piece suit and she is in her best dress and party shoes. Originally, the speaker was told that she was going to the beach with her family. However, instead of going to the beach they went to an abandoned airport and waited for a plane to relocate them to New York City.

How does Emily bronte succeed in ending wuthering heights with the massage love overcomes hate
Ostrovityanka [42]

Answer:

Emily Bronte succeeded in ending Wuthering Heights with the message that love overcomes hate by the union of Hareton and young Catherine after the enormous hate they received from Heathcliff.

Explanation:

In Wuthering Heights, Emily Bronte the author writes a tale about largely unlikable persons that are caught up in an obsessive love that turns to dark madness. The novel is cruel, violent, dark, brooding and some readers find it unpleasant.

The novel is about Heathcliff and Catherine and the deep love they have for each other. Heathcliff is love-struck by Catherine and can not bear to be away from her although he has a strong personality that shows he can bear almost anything, except that. Catherine is Heathcliff's foster sister.

Unfortunately, Catherine betrays his love by getting married to Edgar Linton because of the pressures of social convention. Heathcliff leaves the area and comes back after three years after Catherine's marriage and he vows revenge on all who wronged him.

He lends Hindley money that he knows he cannot pay back and as a result inherits the manor then he marries Isabella Linton and treats her cruelly. Heathcliff has a son Hareton and Catherine has a daughter who was named after her and after Heathcliff dies, they both get married.

Answer-

As a part of Kiowa among Navajo and Pueblo people who was also being guided by his parents toward success in the larger society beyond Jemez, Momaday inhabited a complex world of intersecting cultures. The need to accommodate himself to these circumstances prepared him for the perceptive treatment of encounters with various cultures that characterizes his literary work. Examples: Momaday's formal education took place at the Franciscan Mission School in Jemez; the Indian School in Santa Fe; high schools in Bernalillo, New Mexico; and the Augustus Military Academy in Fort Defiance, Virginia. In 1952 he entered the University of New Mexico at Albuquerque as a political science major with minors in English and speech. He spent 1956-1957 in the law program at the University of Virginia, where he met William Faulkner; the encounter helped to shape Momaday's early prose and is most clearly reflected in the evocation of Faulkner's story "The Bear" (1942) in Momaday's poem of that title (collected in Angle of Geese and Other Poems, 1974). Returning to the University of New Mexico, Momaday graduated in 1958 and took a teaching position on the Jicarilla Apache reservation at Dulce, New Mexico.
