More gravitational force is exerted on object B since it has higher mass. Force and mass are directly proportional so when mass is higher then the force is larger. However, when the mass is small, then the force is well small. From the statement above, object A has a mass of 25 grams which is smaller with object B with a mass of 50 grams.

Write a function named max that accepts two integer values as arguments and returns the value that is the greater of the two. Fo
RoseWind [281]

Answer:

The solution code is written in Python

  1. def max(a, b):
  2.    if(a > b):
  3.        return a
  4.    else:
  5.        return b
  6. num1 = int(input("Please input the first number: "))
  7. num2 = int(input("Please input the second number: "))
  8. print(max(num1, num2))

Explanation:

Firstly create a function max that accepts two input, a and b, as required by question (Line 1). In the function, create if statement to check if a greater than b return a and vice versa (Line 2 -5).

In the main program (Line 7 - 10), prompt user to input two numbers (Line 7 - 8). At last call the function by passing num1 and num2 as arguments and print the result (Line 10).

Define a function PrintFeetInchShort, with int parameters numFeet and numInches, that prints using ' and " shorthand. Ex: PrintF
DaniilM [7]

Answer:

The function declaration to this question as follows:

Function declaration:

//declaring method printFeetInchShort, that accepts two integer parameters

void printFeetInchShort(int numFeet,int numInches) //method

{//method body

printf("The given height is: "); // message printing

printf("%d\'%d\" ", numFeet,numInches); //value printing

}

Explanation:

In the above method (function) declaration a method "printFeetInchShort" is declared, that accepts two integer variable as its parameters.

  • This method uses a return type void, which means it will not return any value.
  • The parameter "numFeet and numInches" accepts an integer value in the main method and inside the method, it will print its value by a single and double quote.

Write a Python function LetterGame() that repeatedly asks the user to input a letter. The function is to count the number of vow
kotegsom [21]

Answer:

def LetterGame():

   vowels = ["a", "e", "i", "o", "u", "A", "E", "I", "O", "U"]

   count1 = count2 = 0

   while True:

       choice = input("Enter a letter / digit to stop: ")

       if choice.isdigit():

           break

       elif choice.isalpha():

           count1 += 1

           if choice in vowels:

               count2 += 1

   print("You entered " + str(count1) + " letters, " + str(count2) + " of which weere vowels.")

   print("The percentage of vowels was " + str(count2 / count1 * 100) + "%")

LetterGame()

Explanation:

Create a function called LetterGame

Inside the function:

Create a list of vowels

Initialize count1, counts the total letters, and count2, counts the vowels

Initialize a while loop that iterates until the specified condition is met in the loop

Get the input from the user. If it is a digit, stop the loop. If it is an alphabet, increase the count1 by 1, and also check if it is a vowel. If it is a vowel, increment the count2 by 1

When the loop is done, print the required information

Finally, call the function
