Look at the graph.
If you go to x = 2, you see y = 6.
x is the independent variable and represents the number of hours she works.
Now go up from x = 2 on the x-axis until you reach the line. At that point, y = 6. y is the dependent variable and shows how many bracelets she makes.
She makes 6 bracelets in 2 hours.
If you divide the number of bracelets by the number of hours, you get the unit rate of bracelets per hour.

6 bracelets / 2 hours = 3 bracelets/hour

Now multiply the unit rate by 3.5 hours

3 bracelets / hour * 3.5 hours = 10.5 bracelets.

In 3.5 hours, she makes 10.5 bracelets.

Which are the like terms in 2y^3 – 4y^2 + y + y^3?
mash [69]
Like terms are going to have the EXACT same variables....or they can just be constants with no variables.

x^2 and 3x^2 are like terms
x^2 and x^3 are not like terms
8 and 9 are like terms
8x and 9y are not like terms

so ur like terms in ur problem are : 2y^3 and y^3

Given the equation of the circle, identify the coordinates of the center. (x+2)2+(y-6)2=49
sveta [45]

Answer:

(-2, 6)

Step-by-step explanation:

Equation of a circle is:

(x − h)² + (y − k)² = r²

where (h, k) is the center and r is the radius.

In this case, the center is (-2, 6).

GrogVix [38]

Answer:

(\frac{dy}{dt})^2=sin^2t

Step-by-step explanation:

y=cost

DE :(\frac{dy}{dt})^2=1-y^2

If y is a solution of given DE then it satisfied the DE.

Differentiate w.r.t t

\frac{dy}{dt}=-sint

Using the formula

\frac{d(cosx)}{dx}=-sinx

LHS:(\frac{dy}{dt})^2=(-sint)^2=sin^2t

RHS

1-y^2=1-cos^2t=sin^2t

By using the formula

sin^2t=1-cos^2t

LHS=RHs

Hence, y is a solution of given DE

(\frac{dy}{dt})^2=sin^2t
