To answer the question above, directly substitute the given price which is $100 to all the x's of the given equation,
                             C = 0.765x + 0.06 (0.765x)
                        C = (0.765) ($100) + 0.06 (0.765) ($100) = 81.09
Thus, Chris would have to pay only $81.09.

Answer 81.09

C = 0.765x + 0.06 (0.765x)

                       C = (0.765) ($100) + 0.06 (0.765) ($100) = 81.09

Y=-4x graph equation
AleksandrR [38]

y = -4x

y = mx+b

b = 0

m = -4

here are some basic directions:

1. mark the point (0, 0) on the coordinate plane since b, aka the x intercept (where the line intersects with the x axis)

2. mark another point (1, -4) on the coordinate plane since we have defined a hawt slope ykyk

3. use the two points to guide ur ruler and draw a line idk how to describe it but yeah <3

If P(A) = 0.3 and P(B) = 0.6 what is P(A or B) if the two events are independent?
Katena32 [7]

Answer:

P(A or B) is 0.72

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : P(A) = 0.3 and P(B) = 0.6

To Find:P(A or B) = P(A∪B)

Solution :

We are given that A and B are two independent events

Property : If A and B are independent events then P(A \cap B) = P(A) \times P(B)

So, P(A \cap B) = P(A) \times P(B)

P(A \cap B) =0.3 \times 0.6

P(A \cap B) =0.18

Formula : P(A \cup B)=P(A)+P(B)-P(A \cap B)

P(A \cup B)=0.3+0.6-0.18

P(A \cup B)=0.72

Hence P(A or B) is 0.72
