Answer:

Explanation:

Schroeder is one of the main characters of the comic strip peanuts. He is considered one of the best friends of Charlie Brown (the protagonist) and Lucy van Pelt, who is in love with him. Schroeder's behavior and development revolve around his great passion for music. He, through his toy piano, wants to imitate his favorite Beethoven composer, on which all his wishes and projections revolve in his life. At the same time, his great passion for music brings difficulties such as the ability to develop in other fields, pay attention to certain wishes of his friends and especially when playing on a real piano. So much is his fondness for the toy piano, that sitting on a piano really takes him out of the concept of reality that had formed and the fear he feels of playing badly, inhibits him from doing so despite the insistence of his friends.

Why was control of Texas important to both confederacy and the union? Which side controlled Texas during the Civil War?
serg [7]

Texas declared its secession from the Union on February 1, 1861, and joined the Confederate States on March 2, 1861, after it replaced its governor, Sam Houston, when he refused to take an oath of allegiance to the Confederacy. As with those of other States, the Declaration was not recognized by the United States government at Washington. Some Texan military units fought in the Civil War east of the Mississippi River, but Texas was most useful for supplying soldiers and horses for Confederate forces. Texas' supply role lasted until mid-1863, after which time Union gunboats controlled the Mississippi River, making large transfers of men, horses or cattle impossible. Some cotton was sold in Mexico, but most of the crop became useless because of the Union naval blockade of Galveston, Houston, and other ports.
