(1) tranquilamente

This is an adverb that translates into quietly. An adverb is a word or group of words that describes or modifies a verb, adjective, another adverb or a whole sentence. In English, a lot of adverbs end in ly while in Spanish, a lot of adverbs end in mente. This is an adverb of manner and this type of adverbs gives information on the way something is done answering questions like How? or In what way?

(2) lentamente

This is an adverb that translates into slowly and means that the boy fell at a slow speed, not quickly. It's also important to say that Spanish adverbs are invariable, that is, they don't change according to gender and number, because they modify verbs, adjectives and adverbs, not nouns.

(3) mucho

This is an adverb that translates into a lot and means to a great extent, a great deal. This is an adverb of quantity and this type of adverbs gives information on quantity, number, and degree answering questions like How much? or To what extent? and are used to give information on quantity, number, and degree

(4) rápidamente

This is an adverb that translates into quickly and means here that the boy's parents appeared at a fast speed or rapidly. This is also an adverb of manner. Keep in mind that an adverb usually comes after the verb it modifies. Here the verb that the adverb modifies is aparecer (whose conjugation is aparecieron)

(5) inmediatamente

This is an adverb that translates into immediately and means here that the parents took their child to their house at once or instantly. This is also an adverb of manner and modifies the verb llevar whose conjugation in this sentence is llevaron matching the third person plural in the the preterite tense.

(6) afortunadamente

This is an adverb that translates into fortunately and means here thatit is fortunate that the child did not suffer damages. In conclusion, a lot of adverbs can also be formed with adjectives by using the following formula:

feminine singular adjective + mente

It is not the case for all adjectives, but many of them meet this requirement.
