Any number over 9 repeats the numerator. 3/9 is equal to 0.3333333...3. For example, 5/9 would be 0.55555555...5. Another rule similar to this is that anything over 90 is equal to a zero and then the numerator begins repeating from the hundredths. 3/90 would be 0.03333333...3. Hope this helped!
