What you are doing with proportions most the time is solving for a variable which in this example I will use an x. You have to do something called cross multiplying. now look at number 21. when you cross multiply you multiply the number of the top part of the fraction on the left side to the bottom part of the fraction on the right side. In that example 1 × 36 = 36. now write 36 = 16x since you have to cross multiply the other parts of the fraction. Then you would divide both sides of the equation by 16. I will make a mixed fraction for this example. 2 4/16 which simplified equals 2 1/4

Identify the domain of the function shown in the graph
Brut [27]

Using it's concept, the domain of the function shown in the graph is:

B. -6 \leq x \leq 6.

<h3>What is the domain of a function?</h3>

The domain of a function is the set that contains all possible input values for the function. In a graph, the domain is the set that contains all values of x.

From this graph, the function is defined for values of x between -6 and 6, hence the domain is given by:

B. -6 \leq x \leq 6.

Question 4
Ilia_Sergeevich [38]

Answer:

2

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

See attachment for chart

Required

Number of off days

To do this, we simply calculate the expected value of the chart.

This is calculated as:

E(x) = \sum x * f

Where

x = days

f = chances

So, we have:

E(x) = 0* 0.3 + 1 *0.2 + 2 * 0.25 + 3  * 0.2 + 4  * 0.02 + 5 * 0.01 + 6 * 0.01 + 7 * 0.01

E(x) = 1.56

E(x) \approx 2
