Answer:

B)The Soviet Union had fallen, so it no longer needed to govern its federated states.

Explanation:

The military alliance between the Soviet Union and its Eastern European satellites came to an end in 1991.

The Warsaw pact was no longer existant since its member states also after becoming independent in some cases went to join to the NATO.

The Warsaw was the counterpart to the NATO, which for this reason had been created.

As new member states formed and joined the NATO :  In March 1999, the Czech Republic, Hungary, and Poland joined NATO; Bulgaria, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania, and Slovakia joined in March 2004; Albania there was no way of maintaining the Warsaw Pact with the scope it had before:

The USSR disintegrated so the need for a collective security strategy had to be reshaped

Russia and ex USSR states formed the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) in 1992, or the Shanghai Five in 1996, which was renamed the Shanghai Cooperation Organization after Uzbekistan's addition in 2001.

The Soviet Union had fallen, so it no longer needed to govern its federated states.

Further Explanation:

Warsaw pact was a treaty of friendship, cooperation, and mutual assistance. Warsaw pact was signed in Poland in the year 1955, during the cold war between the Soviet Union and Eastern Bloc Republics of Eastern Europe. The Beginning of NATO was in the year 1949 when the United States, Canada and many nations from Europe wanted to derail Soviet Expansion in Western Europe. Warsaw past was the answer to NATO from the Soviet Union and during that period of time Poland, Germany, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, and Albania were part of the Soviet Union and Soviets always held their stand that it was a defensive alliance.

By the year 1980 arrived, Anti-Soviet movements in Eastern Europe started to dissolve the Warsaw pact. East Germany was the first Country to leave this pact which was followed by Poland and Czechoslovakia and by the year  1991, Commanders of Soviet military forces gave away their control of Warsaw pact forces and members of Warsaw political consulting committee met the same year and decided to dissolve Warsaw pact.

Stolb23 [73]

Answer:

Explanation:

Jefferson, Madison and other opponents feared the treaty gave too many concessions to the British. They argued that Jay's negotiations actually weakened American trade rights and complained that it committed the U.S. to paying pre-revolutionary debts to English merchants.
