Answer:

P(X

And we can find this probabiity using the normal standard table or excel and we got:

P(z

Step-by-step explanation:

Previous concepts

Normal distribution, is a "probability distribution that is symmetric about the mean, showing that data near the mean are more frequent in occurrence than data far from the mean".

The Z-score is "a numerical measurement used in statistics of a value's relationship to the mean (average) of a group of values, measured in terms of standard deviations from the mean".

Solution to the problem

Let X the random variable that represent the weights of a population, and for this case we know the distribution for X is given by:

X \sim N(6,0.45)

Where \mu=6 and \sigma=0.45

We are interested on this probability

P(X

And the best way to solve this problem is using the normal standard distribution and the z score given by:

z=\frac{x-\mu}{\sigma}

If we apply this formula to our probability we got this:

P(X

And we can find this probabiity using the normal standard table or excel and we got:

P(z

A cookie contains 9 grams of fat. If you eat no fewer than 4 and no more than 7 cookies, how many grams of fat will you
Hitman42 [59]

Step-by-step explanation:

Since each cookie has 9 grams of fat, four cookies would contain 4*9 = 36 grams of fat.

Also nine cookies has 7*9 = 63 grams of fat.

So the number of grams consumed will be at least 36 and no more than 63.

Plz help me plz show work thx
jonny [76]
This is prime factorization
we need to know what number might go into 63
Most people who know their times tables remember that 9 * 7 = 63
7 is a prime number so it would go into the circle, and the 9 will go into the box

9 isn't prime, but 3 * 3 = 9.  3 is a prime number so the 3's will go into the circles below the 9.

If you need a final answer you can write 63 = 3 * 3 * 7

You can get the same factors if you use 3 *21 instead of 9*7 at the beginning.  I'll let you figure out that one.

If n = 4, the value of the expression 28 – 12 + vñ : 2 is<br> 0 15<br> 021<br> O<br> 017
Alexandra [31]

Answer:

17

Step-by-step explanation:

28 - 12 + \sqrt{n} \div 2 =

n = 4

= 28 - 12 + \sqrt{4} \div 2

= 16 + 2 \div 2

= 16 + 1

= 17
