He made a queen-sized quilt that was 8 feet long. its area was 64 feet. what is its perimeter
SOVA2 [1]
Depends on the shape we are talking here. I believe you are taking about a square, so:
The equation for area for a square is: s^2, s representing the length of 1 of the squares sides (a square is even all the way around, so 1 side is the same as all)
8^2=64, so I can assume this is a square by this. Knowing it's a square, and that one of the sides is equal to 8, and the other 3 sides are the same length, I can do 8*4, which equals 24.
The perimeter is 24

What is the direct linear variation equation for the relationship?
defon
\bf \begin{array}{cccccclllll}
\textit{something}&&\textit{varies directly to}&&\textit{something else}\\ \quad \\
\textit{something}&=&{{ \textit{some value}}}&\cdot &\textit{something else}\\ \quad \\
y&=&{{ K}}&\cdot&x
\\ \\
&& y={{ K }}x
\end{array}
\\ \quad \\

\begin{cases}
y=4\\
x=12
\end{cases}\implies y=Kx\implies 4=K\cdot 12

solve for "K", to see what "K" is, or the "constant of variation",
once you found K, plug it back in y=Kx, and that's the equation

- b = 14.89, C = 77°, c = 17.11
Leto [7]
∠A=36° ∠B=67° measures of a=8

in a Δ sum of all angles are 180
∠A+∠B+∠C=180
36+67+∠C=180
∠C=77

Now use law of sines
a/sinA=b/sinB=c/sinC
8/sin36=b/sin67
now u can find B and C
